I worked with Children for a Green New Nepal throughout 2008 whilst staying in Kathmandu. We collaborated on many creative social and ecological projects, the highlight being the pioneering of a 'Compost Happens' - a community compost project that cleaned the city, taught compost making to schools and community and brought in revenue whilst building ecological awareness throughout. The enthusiasm of the Nepali youth was infectious!
